3D gateway are online merchants not POS. And there's a flaw already in his post where he said he confirmed from some guys that cvv works on them without otp. That is both absurd and a lie.
All merchs are 3D, meaning otp will be needed.
And no merchant owner in his right mind will drop his link for spammed credit card, that's an automatic and smooth lock on the merch. QuickBooks, Stripe, Square, you dare not attempt spammed cards on these famous merchs not unless you don't need them again.

POS on the other hand doesn't require otp when wiping cards but still have the means at hand if you're dealing with some certain banks like Discover bank. And again, card has to be a Controlled card, not spammed cards else you get hit fast with pending payments and dispute.
