Since many shopify sites are powered by stripe with no third party. good for non vbv. Does this means all popular usa banks/bins, example wells fargo and chase work with shopify sites??

On US cards, the VBV isn't much of a worry, as a large share of the US BIN's are non-vbv, but nearly all are AVS. So therefore might complicate things a little

AVS have nothing to do with the socks. You always need clean non-blacklisted socks.
AVS is "Address Verification System" so the system automatically verifies the billing / shipping address if its on file with the bank.

So in short, a Non-AVS card on a AVS site, you can use your drop shipping address as billing address (Bill=Ship)
But if its an AVS card on a AVS site, then you need to use real billing, as its on file with the bank.

I grab your words cool.... then bypassing avs on sites with only right information as represented in CCs. So non avs cards are associated with what exactly?? By association I mean identifying avs and non avs CCs in stores or databases....thanks for your time

Non-AVS cards isn't sharing/reporting the Billing address to the CC processor for verification. Could be by obsolete systems or similar..
You can't directly identify them by just looking at them. But once you have found a Non-AVS BIN, then all of them are Non-AVS, that's how you identify them.
A good test is this, you can get a Stripe Merchant Account, then create a buyer profile, the add the card with billing address to the profile, once you do that, you will see if the address get verified or not. If verified you will see it there. otherwise you will see something like "Issuing bank doesn't support this feature" then it's a Non-AVS.

However you don't need the CVV to do such tests on Stripe, however correct BIN & CC# is required, as well as the billing address.
