can't initialize j2A040 card

I have a mcr200 and for some reason my pyapdutool or pyresman programs won't recognize my card reader. I have the drivers installed that came with my reader but they only work with the shitty programs that came with the mcr200 which are mostly in Chinese. so I'm just lost and pissed. I bought jcopengliah and jcophirolive but I can't seem to get them to write any actual commands. the command line screen just stays black. and I get some error code when I exit hopefully someone here can help me
