card declined at checkout

i used my friends card to test it on before we bought sum cc's n i got his track 1 n track 2 by swiping it thru the msr n i copied it onto a blank card n only recoded the magstripe n when i swiped it to checkout it declined. what did i do wrong? i have atr tool n x2 n all the other software i jus dont have ist files for my country so idk what to do
