Hey, so ever since 911 proxy site closed i’m sure everyone myself included had a hell of a time trying to find a reputable residential Socks 5 proxy provider, that we could trust with our information basically cause really you can’t card proxies they are on to that I mean, you can use bitcoin and shit but I think majority of us probably end up using our own cards to buy the service anyways however you get it it really doesn’t fucking matter. The point is is I can vouch for PIA!
so I’ve been using them for about a year and I think originally when I purchased my bank of proxies I got something like 500 proxies and I’m down to about 120 I think so over your time I’ve gone through about 350+ proxies that’s basically at least one proxy per day in mind you I’ve been trying at least three or four Proxy providers over this last year and what I like about PIA is several things first they constantly update their software. I guess that would be number one. They have their own software. You don’t have to use some crazy Proxifier the software that they provide you with their proxies works it just works. I’ve not had one problem. OK I take that back at the beginning of this year when I first started using them I did have some issues with their software and they’re easy to get in touch with on telegram and they troubleshoot and fix your problem immediately I honestly haven’t had any issues with their software in the last I’d say 10 months! But that’s likely because they update their software at least I think once if not twice a month, maybe more I don’t know but it’s always been updated which is fucking great to see! They also have some really cool features. You can use their proxies on like an android device. They have a feature that allows that to happen. I’ve used it once or twice. It’s kind of cumbersome in the sense that you have to use your computer and your android device so I don’t really see the point in that maybe one day we’ll figure it out where you don’t need to use the computer But for now I do most of my stuff from my computer anyways so I really don’t care in case you’re looking for it. It’s called group control I believe and you have to download their app obviously but the other thing I really like about them is their proxies work very rarely do I need to change your proxy in the middle of working on something because the proxy dies or it slows down to a point that I can’t fucking do anything just when you’re using their service pick proxies that have a ping in the 20, I guess it’s MMS I don’t know what the unit is on it but pink speed is important so make sure you pick a proxy that is in its 20s and you won’t have any problem. I’ve never had an issue finding a proxy for whatever city I’m using that’s not fast enough or having trouble finding one that is in the 20s so!
in fact, speaking of their software, I’m gonna go over this real quick because it took me a little while to kind of figure this out and maybe this will help somebody. I’m not sure but if you’re not gonna use an anti-detect browser which I highly recommend using and there’s several that I use right now dolphins one of them. The other one is shift hidemium4 and bit browser ( bit browser is the Anti detect that PIA I guess recommends on their website it doesn’t really matter. You don’t have to use browser just any good anti detect and if you need help setting that up, let me know in private! It’s a whole probably separate post and then some to go over and anti-detect browser settings!).
OK, but let’s say you’re in a pinch and you don’t wanna fight with the anti-detect browser. I do it all the time so I understand all you have to do PIA proxy is pick the proxy that you want to use and before you select it it’s going to be in basically the proxy list for the city you’re looking for or targeting. So you found one that’s in its 20s and you’re like OK. This is the city I want. The ZIP Code is perfect. Great let me grab it. Go ahead and right. Click on the Proxy cause they’re listed in a list and you’re gonna click on or hover over “forward port to Proxy” at, it’ll open up another side menu which will list your available ports and I think you have like 12 available ports that you can fill up. I only ever use one, but this comes in handy when you want your anti-detect browser to basically change proxies every X amount of minutes or something so don’t really even worry about it. Just pick the first one it’s usually set to I think 40000 that’s the port! Once you click on the port, it will purchase the proxy out of your bank and make sure you’re buying by the Proxy and not buy the gigabyte. I don’t understand the gigabyte stuff just by them by the item so like I said I originally bought 500 and that’s 500 IPS that I can use out of my bank OK so now you have set up the software so that your proxy that you picked is expressing itself out of port 40000! But you’re not protected yet in fact, nothing’s even happening, which you then need to do is look at the top of the software that you’re using for PIA and you need to find out what your local proxy number is and you can actually pick it so they give you a list of I think it’s too ones kind of random like 169.254.6 3.63 and then the other one is which is the one I use 127.0.0.1: port so that number is your IP that you’re going to use when you want to tell your windows machine to use a proxy so click on settings in your machine Search Proxy and then manual proxy set up click on set up and all you have to change. Is the toggle from off to on you can use your local proxy IP that I just told you about the 127.0.0.1 or the 169.254.63.63 And then the port number is the one that you drug your purchased proxy into when you were purchasing it and I say purchase loosely because there’s no checkout you just click on it and it’s yours and then save in windows exit out of your settings and open up any browser and your whole machine is now Using that socks five proxy, which is good and bad like I said you really want to use the anti detect but in a pinch this will do and then what I would do is when you open up the browser just click on like a store that’s nearby you like I usually do Home Depot near me and that way the listings in the browser should be for the Home Depot stores in the city that your proxy is for if it’s not then you did something wrong and it’s not working.
OK this last thing is something that always fucks me up and I forget about it sometimes but the proxy on your machine will stay on even if you turn off your fucking computer and so then you’ll login you’ll forget that you had added Proxy to your machine, you gotta open up your browsers and nothing fucking works. It’s like your Internet’s out because by then the Proxy is no longer working and it doesn’t take me too long these days to remember that I have approximately running, but I guarantee some of you guys will forget about it and it’ll drive you nuts you’ll pull your looking at every possible reason why you’re not getting Internet even though it says your computer is so make sure you turn your proxy off after you’re done using it and save after you turn it off because if you don’t save it, you’ll still be running it !
