TheView attachment 8193Skimming is a type of fraud which involves illegally obtaining credit card information from unwitting cardholders. To successfully execute a skimming attack, the attacker will typically set up a device which is designed to capture the card's data when it is swiped. The device is then connected to a computer or other device which can record the data before it is sent to the payment processor.
