Ripple is a "panic button" that can send a trigger message to any application that is a "panic responder." These applications can perform actions such as locking, disguising, deleting personal data, sending emergency messages, and more. It's designed for situations where there is time to react, but users need to be sure it's not mistakenly set up.
2. Duress
When a specific unlock PIN code is entered, Duress can either wipe the Android device or send a message to another program called Wasted, which also wipes the device. It doesn't seem to require root access.
3. Wasted
Wasted locks the device and deletes its data in case of danger. It can be triggered using the Panic button, quick settings tile, shortcut, or by sending a message with an authentication code.
4. Sentry
Mini application for applying additional security policies. It can:
* Limit the maximum number of unsuccessful password attempts
* Disable USB data transfer (Android 12, USB HAL 1.3, Device Owner)
Additionally, you can grant permission to read device notifications to automatically disable USB data transfer when the screen is turned off.
Permissions:
* DEVICE_ADMIN - Limit the maximum number of unsuccessful password attempts
* DEVICE_OWNER - Disable USB data transfer
* NOTIFICATION_LISTENER - Receive lock events (optional)

8. Autowipe
Autowipe automatically deletes data such as incorrect screen unlock passwords, SMS-received passwords, and changed subscriber identity (SIM card). It locks the screen during the cleaning process and doesn't require root access.
9. Lookout
An antivirus with Android data deletion capability.
10. Dr.Fone - Data Eraser
While it may not save you if the phone falls into the wrong hands, Dr.Fone can completely erase your phone's activity data.
