Caller Id Spoofing without online services?

I was just wondering if their were any techniques to spoofing caller id independently instead of using an online service like spoofcard.com or anything alike

Any help on the matter would be appreciated.

I often wondered this.....but then again, maybe tha'ts why their is no competition to spoof-card (only resellers / affiliates)..... If it can be done, it can be duplicated.

I know their are voip tricks / programs that help, but honestly i just buy sim cards by the 100, and load with cvv2, and toss when done with that op.
