Firing up our trusty Burp Suite, we dug into Adorama's digital guts. At first glance, these fuckers seem to be running everything in-house. No fancy third-party antifraud systems in sight. It's like they're begging to be hit.
The payment processing is handled by Braintree. If you've been paying attention to my previous guides, you know this can be both good and bad. Braintree's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but they've got some tricks up their sleeve.
Here's where shit gets interesting. We spotted this line in their backend requests:

Looks like Adorama's got some fraud prevention system, but the idiots have it turned off most of the time. It's like they installed a security system but forgot to turn it on.
But hold up. A quick Google search shows past blog posts about Adorama partnering with Signifyd. Now, we didn't see any signs of Signifyd being injected in our session, but these sneaky bastards could be using it to assess transactions after you order, not while you're browsing the site.
This is actually great news for us. Post-purchase fraud checks mean we've got a window of opportunity. If we can get our order through the initial checkout, we might be able to snag the goods before any red flags pop up.
Adorama's Payment System
My personal experience with Adorama lines up perfectly with what we've uncovered about their antifraud setup. These fuckers let all charges go through (as long as your card's got juice), then they do their little check immediately right after.

You can fail this check if:
- Dirty drop: Your drop's got a dirty history of fraudulent transactions. Signifyd's probably cross-checking addresses, so if your drop's been burned before, you're fucked.
- Flagged IP: Your IP is flagged. Do yourself a favor and run it through IPQS first.
- High fraud score: Your general fraud score is too high for the amount youre trying to purchase. If you're trying to snag a $5000 cinema camera on a fresh account, you're asking for trouble. Start small and work your way up.
In most cases if you fail the checks they will cancel the order, in some cases they will email you telling you that your order is on hold, and that you need to confirm your details with them.

- Enter details carefully: Take your time, no copy-pasting. Make it look like a real purchase. Use a phone number that forwards to you.
- Submit and wait: Once you hit that order button, sit tight. Remember, Adorama lets the charge go through before they start sniffing around.
- Monitor your email and phone: If you get an order confirmation, you're probably in the clear. If you see that "on-hold" bullshit or get a call, be ready to play ball with their verification process.

Mi experiencia personal con Adorama coincide perfectamente con lo que hemos descubierto sobre su sistema antifraude. Estos malditos dejan pasar todos los cargos (siempre que tu tarjeta tenga saldo) y luego hacen su pequeña comprobación inmediatamente después.

Puede fallar esta comprobación si:

Firing up our trusty Burp Suite, we dug into Adorama's digital guts. At first glance, these fuckers seem to be running everything in-house. No fancy third-party antifraud systems in sight. It's like they're begging to be hit.

Adorama's Payment System
My personal experience with Adorama lines up perfectly with what we've uncovered about their antifraud setup. These fuckers let all charges go through (as long as your card's got juice), then they do their little check immediately right after.

You can fail this check if:
- Dirty drop: Your drop's got a dirty history of fraudulent transactions. Signifyd's probably cross-checking addresses, so if your drop's been burned before, you're fucked.
- Flagged IP: Your IP is flagged. Do yourself a favor and run it through IPQS first.
- High fraud score: Your general fraud score is too high for the amount youre trying to purchase. If you're trying to snag a $5000 cinema camera on a fresh account, you're asking for trouble. Start small and work your way up.
In most cases if you fail the checks they will cancel the order, in some cases they will email you telling you that your order is on hold, and that you need to confirm your details with them.

- US cards: VBV or non-VBV, doesn't matter. Adorama rarely throws 3DS at you, even on garbage cards.
- US drop addresses: Keep 'em clean and rotate often.

- Solid antidetect setup: Make sure your browser fingerprint looks legit.
- Phone number forwarder: This is important. Adorama likes to call and verify orders. Make sure the number you use forwards to you.

- Checkout: Use guest checkout if possible. If you need an account, use one with some history.
- Enter details carefully: Take your time, no copy-pasting. Make it look like a real purchase. Use a phone number that forwards to you.
- Submit and wait: Once you hit that order button, sit tight. Remember, Adorama lets the charge go through before they start sniffing around.
- Monitor your email and phone: If you get an order confirmation, you're probably in the clear. If you see that "on-hold" bullshit or get a call, be ready to play ball with their verification process.
