Few newbie questions

after browsing site for few months i feel i learned a bit. however im still confused as to if i actually do need socks5 for android carding along with VPN.

to my understanding - socks is what makes us appear to be in same location of card owner correct? wouldn't one simply be able to select vpn server in the same city as the card-owner to receive same effect?

also i see EVERYONE on here using ICQ but i read that it wasn't too secure. though i'm using a burner phone i still want to remain completely annonymous
is it true that telegram is safer?

vpn is more broad as in country/state, socks is more local as in town/city
possible to card with just vpn but more success rate with vpn+socks
yes telegram is more secure than icq but jabber is most secure
icq -> telegram -> jabber

dont forget to root and use idem changer on android
