Question - When I purchase login info for say home depot or Lowe's etc, and it says I need to do a password reset to login. How do I do it if email needs 2fa? Some have cookies, does that allow access without 2fa to the email or the shop site? The email is my understanding but just checking if I'm mistaken.

What exactly did you buy?
Nonetheless, any log you buy that you need to do a password reset before you could login is not a good log to begin with. The log is expected to come complete and intact, that's what you paid for.

And yeah, with cookies, most times you can access any portal without authentication. In the case of bank logs, Credit Unions in particular, you may be required to verify your identity too.

The logs from blackpass, they include "mail access" and in the info say "Fresh checked Active accounts with orders! MAIL access only! Do a password reset to enter Homedepot account." These have no cookies.

Also, regarding the credit union requiring identity verification, is this a new thing? I thought typically credit unions were the best choice regarding banklogs. Thank you for your input, I haven't carded/done fraud since 2012ish and its a whole new world.

I'm not gonna pretend like I understand what you're saying in the first paragraph. A log with just mail access only could be a Call Log, perhaps the site wasn't specific. That's by the way..

About the second paragraph, identity verification has always been a thing with a credit Unions..although you're right in some way as it's not often utilized. Most Credit Unions from the onset makes use of security questions and answers to further authenticate transactions and logins but ID verification has always been around too.

And yeah you're right, CU logs are one of a kind when it comes to logs. They're the best choice for ACH and DD jobs and also M2M, not so good for cooking Checks.

Yeah, I definitely could have worded that first paragraph better, to say the least lol.

I appreciate you taking the time to reply, and for the input actually worth a shit. 👌
