TOSINT: Telegram OSINT Tool.

Tosint is a community-maintained tool for collecting structured intelligence from Telegram bots, channels and group chats.
Designed for security analysts and investigators, it automates extraction of relevant metadata/context from public sources.

Typical Uses​

Investigative teams and some law-enforcement units use this utility to monitor illicit activity and gather actionable leads.

What it collects:​

• Bot metadata: display name, username, ID, status, and whether the bot has permission to read group messages.
• Chat metadata: title, chat type (channel or group), username and invite link (if available).
• Contextual details: member counts and a list of administrators with roles and privileges.

Operational Benefits​

By tracking channel identifiers, invite links and admin accounts over time, analysts can detect shifts in criminal behavior. Examples:
Transitions between phishing and malware campaigns, changes in geographic or language targeting or re-targeting of victim types.

The project uses Telegram’s official API and is actively maintained. New API features are incorporated as they become relevant.​
