Prepaid cards are like the cockroaches of the financial world - theyre everywhere and most people just want to get rid of them. Were talking about those gift cards you get from your clueless aunt during the holidays:
Visa Mastercard Amex Discover hell even those specific store-branded ones. Theyre meant to be a convenient way to give someone a few bucks to spend but for us theyre a
potential score.
Heres the deal: these cards are often treated like disposable trash. People get them use them once or twice and then toss them aside. Theyre not tied to a bank account so theres no real incentive to keep track of them. This is where we come in ready to scoop up these
discarded treasures.
The Power of Prepaid: Near Impossible Chargebacks and PayPal
So why are these shitty little cards so valuable to us? Two words:
near impossible chargebacks. Think about it. Most of these cards are designed for one-time use. Once the moneys gone its gone. The companies issuing these cards dont want to deal with the hassle of chargebacks so they usually just dont allow them. They arent covered by consumer laws the way credit and debit cards are. This means that once youve successfully processed a payment that money is yours at least most of the time. No take-backs no refunds no bullshit.
And then theres
PayPal. If a prepaid card hasnt been linked to a
PayPal account its basically a
blank check. You can use it to buy stuff whatever the hell you want except for sending money.
PayPals security is tight but its not foolproof. They can only
block a prepaid card if its already been associated with another account. So if you get your hands on a
virgin prepaid card thats never been touched by
PayPal youre in luck. You can
drain that sucker dry with a working
PayPal account.
These two things have led to entire
carding crews building their operations around prepaid cards. Theyve got
specialized merchants who can process thousands even tens of thousands of dollars from these cards every single day. They even have dedicated teams who do nothing but buy and sell these cards and getting ones with balances means you can easily
flip them for 40-60% of their value.
Well cover the cashing out part in a future guide. For now lets focus on how to get these cards and check their balances.
Cheap Garbage Cards: The Prepaid Lottery
The biggest problem with these cards is that they often have
peanuts on them. Spending real money to buy them from those fancy card shops is a
losing game. So where do we get them? You guessed it - those
dirt-cheap CC shops selling cards for a buck or less. This is where you can find a treasure trove of prepaid cards mixed in with the regular garbage cards.
Think of it like playing the lottery. Youre betting that out of a hundred cheap-ass cards a few of them will have a
decent balance. Its a numbers game and the odds are in your favor if you know where to look.
Heres how you play this fucked up game:
- Hit up your favorite bargain-basement CC shop: Were talking about those sites where you can buy cards for pennies on the dollar.
- Dig through the trash: Use the search function and look for these specific BINs. These are just a few examples there are tons more out there so dont be a lazy fuck and do your own damn research:

- Price check: Make sure these motherfuckers are selling for less than $2 a pop. If theyre not move on. Youre looking for the cheapest of the cheap the bottom of the barrel.
- Buy in bulk: Once youve found a good source stock up. The more you buy the better your chances of hitting a some cards with decent balances. And you never know you might get even lucky and find some cards with upwards of $2000-$3000 on them.
Getting Balances
So youve got a stack of these prepaid cards. Now you need to figure out which ones are worth your time. You could manually check the balance on each cards website but who the fuck has time for that? These platforms are designed to be user-friendly but theyre
slow as hell and theyll
flag your IP fast if youre not careful.

Luckily some smart Indian motherfuckers have created
Telegram bots that do the dirty work for you. You just upload a list of your prepaid cards and these bots will automatically check the balance and whether the card has been linked to
PayPal. These bots are cheap and some even offer a few
free checks every day.
Heres how to use one of these bots:
- Find a reputable bot: I personally use @giftcardcheckerbalance_bot and @AllGccCheckerBot but you should always do your own damn research. Ask around on forums check reviews and dont just trust any random bot. Some of these bot creators are shady as fuck and might swipe your card the moment you find one with a balance. They might even lie about the balance to screw you over without you knowing LMAO.
- Prepare your list: Make sure your card numbers are in a clean readable format.
- Send your list to the bot: Follow the bots instructions on how to upload your list.
- Pay the fee: Most bots charge a small fee via subscription plans. A lot of them offer free checks daily too.
- Wait for the results: The bot will churn through your list and give you a report of which cards have balances and which ones are PayPal-free.
Considerations
- Dont use CC checkers: These are pretty much useless when it comes to prepaid cards. Stick to the Telegram bots or manual checking.
- Cashing out: Once youve got a list of cards with balances you can either cash them out yourself or find a partner who will do it for you. There are plenty of people on Telegram and carding forums who offer this service but be careful. Do your due diligence check their reputation and dont get scammed.
