I contacted @U C Dept on his telegram for delivery of a stimulus check last year for $20k check and he said it will cost $850 plus shipping. I lowered the amount yesterday to minimize the risk and asked how much $400 can do and he said the lowest he can go is $550.
He provided btc wallet and I sent $550 but he claimed he received $412 that the fees is too much. I asked what is going to happen because I sent whatever he asked for to his wallet, he told me to balance up which I refused claiming I didn't pay him completely. Never have I seen btc fees $138 for a $550
I tried to reason with him despite knowing I sent $550 to his wallet, and telling him maybe he mixed me up for another customer. I asked him to provide screenshot of his wallet, he posted a fake screenshot showing $412 while the transaction is visible on blockchain for $550.
I told him I will take this to the forum, he said he don't care and immediately cleared the chat on telegram.
I still want to believe this is a misunderstanding but why he cleared the chat is saying otherwise.
